Ban Paksang Pier

The pier divides in 2 parts:
- Passenger pier: The staircase is made of reinforced concrete. There has a pontoon used to transport passengers and goods that can be carried by people
on a boat across the border between Thailand and Lao PDR. - Slope-type wharf
Surface: The surface of the pier is reinforced concrete. The surface is smooth and slightly sloping for drainage. The surface is durable and can support the weight of a cargo ship.
- Dimension of pier
This pier is a medium-sized river pier. The pier is about 10 meters long and 5 meters wide, able to accommodate various types of vessels including passenger ships, cargo ships,
and tourist ships.
Slope-type wharf, which is 7.5 meters wide and 307 meters long, slopes down to the Mekong River for cargo handling and transportation purposes.
