Workshops and Seminars
1.) On July 5, 2023, Mr. Chanyut Chuenta, Provincial Police Station 7 (Ubon Ratchathani), along with Mr. Teeranat Budda, transport officer, professional level,
Mr. Channarong Pradap, Harbour Master, Practitioner level, and officials from the Survey and Map Division, Marine Department, Salawan Province, Lao PDR,
and related agencies from Ubon Ratchathani Province. Attended a meeting to discuss the survey of the navigated route between Pak Taphan local checkpoint,
Salawan sub-district, and Ban Pak Sang permanent checkpoint, Phalan sub-district, Natan district, Ubon Ratchathani at the immigration office Ubon Ratchathani
and jointly surveyed to determine and develop the navigated route on the Mekong River.
2.) The Marine Office Chiang Rai branch has organized a seminar to educate seafarers and stakeholders involved in maritime operations in the Mekong River Basin.
The seminar includes Ship Registration, issuance of a Ship license, and Certificates of Competence for seafarers, both Deck and Engine department.
